Running Around Chicago With Vada Vada Drummer, Gavin Valladares

Vada Vada’s Slater makes their stop in Chicago for less than 24 hours, and luckily for me, I had connected with his tour drummer, Gavin Valladares previous to the tour run. In an act of spontaneity, Gavin and I decided to squeeze time into both of our schedules for a quick portraits shoot. With merely 4 hours until his call time, we had to make it work. 

Gavin is a for-hire drummer based out of California, and besides his current tour spot with Slater, plays in his own band called Conk Creet. He is fueled passionately by his love for hard-core, making friends out on the road, and blue crush soda that he said I definitely needed to try. Make sure to catch up with his further at the remaining Slater shows this summer.
