Concert Review: Raveena takes on Charlotte
By: Haley May
Raveena’s “Where the Butterflies Tour in the Rain” stopped at The Underground in Charlotte, NC on May 23rd. The tour was in support of her album Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain that was released last year.
The show was breathtaking and magical and everything you could dream of. From dancers, to stage design, to meditation—Raveena had the crowd locked in from the start. The fans at the show were all in sync as they sang and danced along. And making sure they stayed as quiet as possible during the meditation that Raveena led during the set. It was such a joy to witness everyone’s passion and connection to the music. During “Smile For Me” she brought a couple on stage from the crowd and they danced along while everyone cheered. It was a beautiful moment showing the community that Raveena’s music and shows bring. As she moved through the set, she thanked the crowd and talked about the meaning that these songs have to her. She mentioned she wasn’t having the best day before the show, but it was making her feel better to play the show.
If you have a chance to catch one of these shows, you definitely should. You won’t regret it. Check out tour dates here.
