Concert Review: Yungblood’s performance electrifies Asbury Park

By: Haley Milnes

Saturday night in Asbury Park, Yungblud took the stage at the Stone Pony and put on a captivating performance. The night opened up with Games We Play and was followed by The Regrettes. Both acts presented themselves in an unforgettable way and truly electrified the crowd.

Yungblud began his performance with the song 21st Century Liability. From start to finish, the crowd was nonstop jumping. Everyone inside the venue was engulfed into the performance. His set was a total of fourteen songs, one being Psychotic Kids which a fan requested he play. The encore included two of his hit songs Loner and Lowlife. About halfway through the set, he shared that his agent told him that he should’ve played two nights in New York City and skip New Jersey. He was honestly thrilled to be playing in the Garden State for the first time ever.

The overall performance and sound Yungblud put on was quite unforgettable. If you have the chance to catch one of his sets, definitely do not miss out. His passionate stage presence will blow you away.
