Evolution Festival to shake up the music scene in St. Louis this August

By: Amy Tang

A new music festival is coming to town this summer and St. Louisians are excited. Evolution Festival will take place on August 26-27, 2023 in Forest Park, and is set to feature artists spanning across multiple genres.

The line-up includes headliners The Black Keys, Brandi Carlile, Ice Cube, The Black Crowes, Brittany Howard, and Ben Howard and the Innocent Criminals. Not to mention, local acts like The Knuckles, Smidley, Punk Lady Apple and Yard Eagle will also take the stage.

Using the tagline “This is our town. This is our time. This is our EVOLUTION!” the event aims to bring festival-goers “an elevated festival experience that will unfold in an unforgettable weekend with the best in live music, a spotlight on bourbon…and unique barbeque creations, curated by St. Louis’ own Sugar Fire Smoke House.”
